The mission of The TOOLS FOR LIFE Foundation is to provide energy and water to individuals across the globe. Many parts of the world still struggle to provide clean drinking water and functioning energy supply to their populations. Without functioning pipes and power lines, supplying water and energy - for a healthy, decent and deserved life-style - is not possible. Many people live in under these catastrophic conditions and they often lack the resources and know-how to improve conditions. Against this backdrop, in 2008, Dr. Helmut Rothenberger, founder and CEO of ROTHENBERGER, set up The TOOLS FOR LIFE Foundation, which is dedicated to improve the sustainable public welfare of our society. The goal of The TOOLS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION is to help individuals and communities worldwide establish and improve the quality of drinking water and energy supply.

With the spirit of: "help for self-help", TOOLS FOR LIFE aims to encourage people to take control of their destiny. TOOLS FOR LIFE has a very solid foundation with its support from ROTHENBERGER, a worldwide provider of premium pipe tools and machines in plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, gas and environmental technology. Additionaly, TOOLS FOR LIFE cooperates with other international relief organisations.
